
Dima Zahran
Dima Zahran (b. 1995) is a Palestinian Dancer and Architect from Nazareth, currently based in Haifa. Trained in Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance at Alamal Contemporary Dance School, she completed her studies in Architecture and Urban Planning and began a freelance career that blends both fields.
Dima believes in the strong connection between architecture and performance, where space invites movement and vice versa. She aims to explore this relationship in her own way within the right framework.
Notable projects include Emergency Room (2010) by Wedad Atallah, directed by Fadi Alghoul, None Static (2016) by Samar Haddad King, Samaa Wakim, and Ayman Safieh, a site-specific performance in Haifa and Jabaa village in the West Bank, Zero Zero (2022) by Aseel Qupty with Alamal Dance Company, while simultaneously leading renovation projects for the school spaces, Baylasan (2024), choreographed by Misan Miso Samara and produced by Théâtre de la Ville, Paris، ARABESQUA (2024) By Nur Garabli and most recently "On this Land" by Misan Miso Samara
